What happens if I miss a submission

You have a 48-hour grace period.

Written by Magda Waskiel

You have a 48-hour grace period after Sunday. After that, the week doesn't count.

We know Sundays get busy. If you forget to submit on the day, you've still got a 48-hour grace period through Monday and Tuesday to send your reading.

During the grace period

  • The app shows Overdue on the home screen and on your vehicle card.

  • We'll send reminder notifications on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday until we receive your reading.

  • Submit any time before Tuesday at midnight and the week counts as normal.

If you miss the grace period on a earnings week (other than week 0, 5 and 10)

That week's $120 reward doesn't count, but you're not out of the pilot. You can keep going the following week and earn the rest. Additional incentives are available for completing surveys.

Weeks 0, 5, and 10 are different — no exceptions

Weeks 0, 5, and 10 are mandatory checkpoints, not regular earning weeks. If you miss the odometer submission for any one of these three weeks, you'll be expelled from the pilot immediately and anything you earned until this point will not be paid out.

Week 5

Being expelled this way means you forfeit your entire balance, including rewards from weeks you already qualified for. This is stricter than a regular missed week, so treat weeks 0, 5, and 10 as unmissable.

What if I'm away or have an emergency?

There's no option to extend the grace period or pause a week, even for emergencies. The 48-hour grace period on regular weeks is the only buffer built into the pilot. Plan ahead if you know you'll be away, especially around checkpoint weeks.
